Description
Through this live webinar, participants will learn how to assess the shoulder joint complex more effectively and efficiently, including a fresh way to look at muscle re-education and strengthening of the shoulder. This webinar focuses on using a manual therapy approach of Test-Treat-Retest to combine evaluation and treatment into one.
At the completion of this webinar, the participant will be able to:
1. | Accurately describe 6 anatomical structures of the shoulder complex and their application to joint mechanics, shoulder movement and shoulder dysfunction |
2. | Accurately describe the assessment concepts for shoulder joint mobilizations and myofascial release of the shoulder |
3. | Demonstrate 6 joint assessments with proficiency and skill |
4. | Demonstrate 6 soft tissue assessment techniques with proficiency and skill |
5. | Independently discuss strengthening and movement re-education |
