Patrick is also the co-owner
of Probility Physical
Therapy which has 3 clinics

Ann Arbor, MI area. He has
created the manual
therapy courses for Great
Lakes Seminars and has
trained all of the
instructors to ensure high
quality
courses and effective,
consistent delivery. Patrick
has
taught manual therapy
courses around the country
for 10 years, has taught in
PT and PTA programs since
1994, was the head athletic
trainer at a high
school for 5 years and he
has performed both
independent medical exams
and peer reviews for
Physical Therapy. He has an
eclectic background in
biomechanics, anatomy, and
manual therapy.

Jeff Garbacz

Jeff began
his education to become a physical therapist by receiving a BA from Albion
College with an emphasis on biomechanics and sports medicine. He then received
his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan - Flint. He
has worked extensively with the orthopedic population focusing his treatment on
returning patients to a more functional, pain-free lifestyle. He utilizes a
combination of joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release
and patient education in treating his patients. Jeff is a physical therapist at
Probility Physical
Therapy in Ann Arbor, MI.

Kimberly Kollwelter

Kimberly Kollwelter,

Kimberly received her Masters of Physical Therapy
degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Kimberly then went on to
complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of St.
Augustine. Along the way, she has become Sports Therapy Certified with the
University of St. Augustine and the North American Sports Medicine Institute.
Kimberly is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National
Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Integrated Manual
Therapist with Great Lakes Seminars. Kimberly is the Director of ATI Physical
Therapy in Joliet, a private practice orthopedic and sports PT clinic in the
southwest suburbs of Chicago. She has provided treatment for the Phoenix
Mustangs, Golf Professionals, as well as many collegiate and high school
athletes. Kimberly has completed research on concentric and eccentric
strengthening of the shoulder and the importance of single leg strengthening
after knee surgery. Kimberly’s doctoral work was on the mobility of the
meniscus in the knee. She has given numerous presentations on the shoulder, and
she specializes in strengthening and special testing of the shoulder and knee.

Brandon
graduated from Nova Southeastern University, earning the Dean’s Award for
highest scholastic achievement in his class. Brandon takes a holistic approach
when treating patients and specializes in manual therapy with emphasis on
muscle energy, myofascial release, low and high amplitude mobilizations.
Brandon has worked hand-to-hand with Patrick Hoban for over five years learning
and mastering advance manual skills. He is currently
co-owner of Probility
Physical Therapy in Ann Arbor, MI and continues to advance his
manual skills through a vast array of continuing education courses.

Cheryl Morykan

Cheryl is a treating clinician at Cornerstone Physical
Therapy. She earned a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Boston
University and a Masters Degree at Neumann College, a Bachelor of Science in
Biology and Athletic Training at Moravian College, and an Associate Degree in
Physical Therapy at Lehigh County Community College. In addition to being a
physical therapist, Cheryl is also a certified strength and conditioning
specialist, an aquatics instructor, Ergonomic Specialist and has an extensive
background in athletic training. Cheryl treats using manual therapy techniques
with emphasis on the body as a whole. Her treatment approach offers a
comprehensive treatment to patients of all disciplines and moves beyond the
symptoms to identify the barrier that limits motion and causes dysfunction. Ms.
Hancock works with the design and implementation of strength and conditioning
programs. Individual programs are designed and specialized to educate,
strengthen, motivate and promote a means to achieve a better quality of life.

Greg Kopp

Greg graduated with his MPT from Oakland University in 1995. He has guest
lectured at Oakland University on ACL/PCL surgeries and rehab, and served as a
teaching assistant at Oakland for examination procedures and therapeutic
exercise. Greg is currently appointed as a clinical instructor for Oakland
University. His treatment approach is eclectic, utilizing Kaltenborn and Paris
manual techniques, and muscle energy techniques learned at Great Lakes
Seminars. He is currently working towards becoming a CIMT through GLS. He has
used this approach since 1995 working in outpatient orthopedic settings with a
very diverse patient population, including sports medicine. Greg’s treatment
philosophy is to treat the driver of the patient’s condition/pathology, and to
teach the patient to manage their own condition. He also has an extensive
background in weight training and exercise. He currently works at
Probility Physical Therapy in Ann Arbor, MI.

David Myers

graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
He holds a teaching degree from Cedarville University and Master of Science
from South Carolina University. He is currently a regional director over
multiple outpatient physical therapy clinics for Benchmark Physical Therapy in
Tennessee. David has worked with back pain patients in the outpatient setting
for over 20 years and has consulted for industry. David has worked in sports
medicine at the Olympic , professional and collegiate levels and emphasizes
manual therapy in his treatment. He has a varied background in anatomy,
exercise physiology and manual therapy. David has also published several
studies in peer-reviewed journals.

treatment of the whole
person, looking at a
variety of structures
and systems that may
contribute to the
patient’s complaints and
the abnormal
biomechanics that are
seen. Treatment includes
muscle energy,
myofascial release, and
a variety of other
techniques. Martin is
the owner of an
orthopedic outpatient
clinic in Spring Lake,
MI.

Scott Braje |
Scott W. Braje, MPT,

Scott
graduated from Colorado
State University in 1997
with a B.S. in Exercise
and Sport Science, a
Minor in Anatomy and
Neurobiology, a
concentration in
Wellness Program
Management, and an
emphasis in Cardiac
Rehabilitation. He then
moved out to San
Francisco and obtained
his CSCS while interning
under the (former)
president of the
National Strength and
Conditioning Association
while engaging in high
level athletic
performance training. He
obtained his Masters in
Physical Therapy from
Andrews University in
Dayton, OH in 2000 and
has worked in outpatient
orthopedic physical
therapy clinics ever
since. He began working with Great
Lakes in 2004, and
as consistent with Great
Lakes philosophy, he
uses a “test, treat,
re-test” focus on each
treatment to determine
the proper course of
action in achieving
maximal results with
each patient. Scott is
presently the clinic
director of the physical
therapy department at a
multi-disciplinary pain
and wellness center in
the North Shore of
Boston.

Laurie Swan

Laurie Swan, PhD, DPT, PT
Course: Vestibular
Laurie earned a Master of Physical
Therapy degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1991, and a PhD in Applied
Experimental Psychology from Central Michigan University in 2004. She recently
completed her transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the
University of Puget Sound. Laurie taught neuroanatomy and neurological
treatment for ten years in physical therapy programs in Michigan and California
before returning to her home state of Washington, where she is currently the
Safe Strides Program Director for Gentiva Health Services. Laurie is passionate
about facilitating the growth of clinicians in treating patients with
vestibular disorders.

Amy Yorke

Amy Yorke, MPT, NCS
Course: Vestibular
Amy is currently an
instructor and Assistant
Director of Clinical Education
in the physical therapy program
at the University of
Michigan-Flint. Amy has
extensive experience working
with individuals with neurologic
impairments, including those
with balance and vestibular
dysfunction. Her experience
ranges from acute care,
outpatient, and home care. She
received a certificate of
vestibular competence in 1999
and was renewed in 2007. Amy is
also board certified in
neurologic physical therapy.
