Our Mission

Through our passion towards teaching and commitment to excellence, we will help Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants, Athletic Trainers and Physicians raise both their level of professional skill and level of caring and understanding of patients.

We are committed to achieving superior levels of professional skills in each area of instruction, so that we may provide maximal levels of education to each registrant.  We also want to maintain a relaxed and open learning atmosphere which allows flexibility and adapts to the learning styles of each person we teach

What makes Great Lakes Seminars unique?

Patrick Hoban has developed a set of seminars which are unique in that they take great techniques and combine them with great teaching.  Our seminars focus on the aspects of learning which state that people learn best when given information in a specific, repeated fashion, and when presented with the same information in different ways.  We also focus on building a learning construct which builds on itself as the seminar progresses.  We often have registrants state that ?everything came together at the end of the last day?.   All of our seminars are less than three days to insure that each person will be able to retain all of the skills and concepts taught in the class and are not overloaded by information.  Our ultimate goal, which we state at the beginning of each seminar, is that each of our seminars will be the best seminar that the registrant has ever been to.  We believe in setting a very high expectation level because we believe that each person deserves the very best in a learning experience.  Please join us as we strive to improve how all therapists view dysfunction and help their patients toward a better life.

Let these techniques work for you!

What have people said about Great Lakes Seminars?

I love your "grass roots" approach to teach manual therapy, you make it easy to comprehend. - Richmond, VA       I learned techniques that I can confidently use tomorrow! - Newark, NJ     This course was great.  It is nice to have good courses at reasonable rates. - Portalnd, OR     I am glad that I waited to take your mobilization course instead of others.  This class was excellent, I was not confused, nor was my brain fried. - Seattle, WA     I had a lot of self doubt that I would comprehend this material.  In the first 30 minutes you gave such confidence that you would teach me and that I would know the material, that my lack of confidence was switched to your confidence. - Portland, OR
