How
do I become a CIMT?
Registrant's
must complete all of the courses in the track before they
are eligible to sit for the CIMT certification. There are
no restrictions on how quickly you must complete the
courses or how quickly you can take the Synthesis course
after you complete the final course required, however we
encourage you to make sure that you have had sufficient time
to gain a working knowledge of the techniques before sitting
for the certification.

Who can become a CIMT?
Physical
Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Occupational
Therapists are eligible to become CIMT's.
Course
Details
The Synthesis
course will be a four day course that will have pre-assigned
readings and study materials and will integrate all of
the program courses together. The course will also add
in advanced techniques in all areas, "connect the
dots" of the material from each course and help shape
your thinking about treating dysfunction. The final day
of this course will be a comprehensive written, oral, and
lab examination which, if passed, will allow a person to
become a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist.
